DHR International is pleased to announce that they have been retained by a hospital in the Mid-Atlantic region to lead and manage the search for a Director, Human resources.
The Director, Human resources will report to the Vice President Human Resources for the system. The Director Human Resources will oversee the human resources under the direction of the VPHR. He/she will work closely with the VPHR and the senior management team to translate strategic priorities into human resources initiatives that promote the growth of the organization and the successful delivery of healthcare services to the communities they serve. There are 2,000 FTE’s and a staff of 13 in Human Resources for two sites.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of eight years’ experience in progressively responsible human resources positions in a hospital or health system. That experience should include five years in a management position in an institution of significant size and complexity that would prepare the individual for the leadership role at the Regional level.
An undergraduate degree, preferably in human resources, is required and a master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field is required .
